Cars in the UK have a legal requirement to be tested once they are three years old and every year thereafter. For a full description of the test, please go to

If the vehicle fails the test and we are instructed to carry out the necessary repair works we offer a free retest of that vehicle within 10 working days after the initial test.
To preserve your MOT annual renewal date your vehicle can tested up to 30 days before the expiry date. The earliest date that your vehicle can be presented for an MOT appears on your MOT certificate.
